DESCRIPTION:Distinguished Young Women is a national scholarship program for female high school students in the 11th grade. The program gives young women a chance to win scholarships for their future universities by competing at the local\, state\, and national levels. The local Keizer program has been around since 1975 as Junior Miss then and Distinguished Young Women now. This year is the first year the program is back in full swing and at the wonderful Ken Collins Theater in McNary High School.\n\n\n\nCome support this year's participants as they compete in various categories and perform the valuable steps it takes to become awarded with this prestigious honor. Two participants will be chosen from the class of 2023 to represent Keizer at the Orgon State competition this summer.\n\n\n\nThis program is brought to you thanks to the Keizer Network of Women (K.N.O.W.) and to our two Keizer Representative Award donors\; Bob Shackleford of HomeSmart Realty Group and R. Bauer Insurance Inc.
