DESCRIPTION:Keizer Rotary would like to invite you to participate in our 27th annual benefit party on Saturday\, April 4\, 2020 at the Keizer Community Center beginning at 5:30 pm.\n\n\n\nThis year's theme is "What Happens in Vegas!" Your ticket gives you a great dinner\, and an opportunity to win the grand prize of $10\,000 in gold and silver\, or the second prize of a $1\,200. There is also a great silent auction. Keizer Rotary has served Keizer and its greater community since 1965.\n\n\n\nKeizer Rotary now numbers over 70 men and women who place "service above self." Since 1992\, we have annually hosted just one major fund raiser a year\, "The Keizer Rotary Foundation's Annual Benefit Raffle and Party." With this one fund raiser\, Keizer Rotary through its Foundation and with the help of the greater Keizer community has raised and distributed nearly a $1\,000\,000 to local charities\, community projects\, student scholarships and our schools.\n\n\n\nThis past year the Keizer Rotary Foundation awarded nearly $50\,000 in grants and college scholarships. Keizer Little League Field Restoration and Improvements ($12\,500)\, new all weather playground and toys for Simonka place\, fitness equipment for two Keizer Parks ($12\,500)\, Keizer Home Grown Community Theatre ($10\,000) fourteen $1\,000 scholarships to McNary High School students and eight AED (automated external defibrillator) stationed throughout Keizer are few examples.
