DESCRIPTION:REFLECTIONS ON THE RIVER 3rd Annual Luminaria Event Salem\, Oregon\, September 10\, 2020   Willamette Valley Hospice will host Reflections on the River sponsored by Columbia Bank with a special online broadcast.\n\nReflections on the River is a free community celebration for anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one. The 45-minute program will be broadcast on Willamette Valley Hospice's website (wvh.org) and Facebook page@WillametteValleyHospice.\n\nBeginning at 7:30 PM\, Reflections on the River will feature shining luminarias with spoken words of inspiration and family testimonials\, honors veterans and remembers those who have passed due to COVID-19 with a glowing tribute on the Willamette Queen Sternwheeler. Last year's Reflections on the River celebration drew more than 200 participants to Riverfront Park with over 1\,500 luminarias and this year's celebration will be accessible for the entire state of Oregon and beyond.\n\nOregonians are invited to participate by purchasing personalized luminarias for $10 each to honor your loved ones at wvh.org. The proceeds from this special event benefit Willamette Valley Hospice's Bereavement Services programs that provide community grief support groups for children and families\, grief counseling for the families of those under our hospice care\, and summer activities for youth.
