SUMMARY:Stitches in Bloom Quilt Show at The Oregon Garden
DESCRIPTION:The Stitches in Bloom Quilt Show will be held in the Grand Hall of The Oregon Garden\, January 27-28\, 2012\, from 10am to 4pm. The show will feature hundreds of quilts\, along with vendors\, workshops and lectures. Internationally-recognized featured artist\, Velda Newman\, will also be giving lectures each day during the show http://veldanewman.com/. Entrance into the show is $10\, and the tram will be running throughout the event to provide guests with a tour of the stunning 80-acre botanical garden.\n\n	Guests can also get a special preview of the event during the Sneak Peek on January 26\, 5:30   7:30. Attendees will enjoy wine and hors d'oeuvres while taking in beautiful quilts and shopping the vendors before the show opens to the general public. Tickets are $15 and must be purchased in advance.\n\n	The Quilt Show also includes two 2-day workshops\, prior to the show. French Wire Ribbon Flowers with Mary Ross January 23-24 and Texture and Form 2 with Velda Newman January 25-26. Early registration is required.\n\n	Specially-priced overnight packages are also available at the Oregon Garden Resort\, for those attending workshops\, the Sneak Peek and/or the Stitches in Bloom Quilt Show.
