DESCRIPTION:UNIVERSITY OF OREGON AND UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND \n\n GAME AT VOLCANOES STADIUM ~ Just Ten Days Away\n\n \n\n The University of Oregon Ducks and the University of Portland Pilots will play a game at Volcanoes Stadium on Wednesday\, April 18th\, with the first pitch at 6:30pm\, gates will open at 5:00pm.\n\n \n\n Both teams began the season red-hot\, and have progressed very well so far this year. The 14th ranked Oregon Ducks are 18-8 overall\, and 6-3 in the PAC-12\, and just completed an all-time first last weekend by sweeping the Arizona State Sun Devils in their 3-game series. 2007 McNary High School graduate\, infielder Kevin Shepherd\, is on the Ducks squad.\n\n \n\n The Pilots began the season 5-0\, and currently are sporting a 16-7 record. The Pilots have won six of the ten games against the Ducks since baseball was reinstated at the University of Oregon in 2009.\n\n \n\n Salem-Keizer Volcanoes President and General Manager Jerry Walker said\, "We're always excited when we get two great Oregon universities playing at Volcanoes Stadium. It will be tremendous baseball for our mid-Willamette Valley fans. I suggest fans get their tickets in advance as interest in this game is very high.
