10 Barrel Brewing of Bend is hosting a Meet the Brewer event in the KeizerFest Tent featuring Dub IPA by Brewer Shawn Kelso (Boise), "The hoppiest beer we have ever produced!"; and Blood Runs Cold by Ian Larkin (Bend), "This juicy, citrus infused IPA was brewed with a huge last minute and dry hop addition of Simcoe, Mosaic, and Equinox hop to provide an enticing hop aroma. Subtle sweetness From 84 lbs of Blood Orange Juice and zest balance the aggressive hop flavor!"; and Apricot Crush by Brewer Tonya Cornett (Bend), "A welcoming introduction into the world of sour beers...our Apricot Crush is made from a Berliner Wiess base and then we add copious amounts of apricot to make this beer really pop!" Keizer Police Association will use all proceeds donated to benefit the Keizer Police Youth Blast Camp.
