2012 Volcanoes Baseball Game
Thursday, July 12th – The Volcanoes continue their five-game series against the Yakima Bears, and we welcome back Don Larsen, former New York Yankees great pitcher, and the ONLY pitcher in baseball history to pitch a perfect game in the World Series. The great Yankee pitcher from the 1950’s will be at Volcanoes Stadium to meet and greet fans and sign Free Autographs. Larsen’s teammates included Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, & Whitey Ford. In addition, Larsen pitched for the San Francisco Giants, in the 1960’s, and played with greats like Willie Mays, Juan Marichal, Willie McCovey, & Orlando Cepeda. You can get a FREE autograph from one of the greatest pitchers in baseball history. It is also our fourth of 6 $1.00 Thursday Nights where selected adult beverages are just $1.00 during the game in the Stadium’s Lava Lodge Sports Pub. Game Time is 6:35; Gates Open at 5:30.
