A Keizer & Marion County Conversation

The Marion County Board of Commissioners will visit with Chamber members and Keizer leaders on Tuesday, April 15^th. The Commissioners’ visit is scheduled with the Economic Development and Government Affairs Committee to host a community conversation that will include discussion about:

economic development,
public safety and the marijuana issue,
health care and mental health
transportation and land use

Commissioners Sam Brentano, Patti Milne and Janet Carlson will open with a short presentation about how the county is responding to current challenges followed by discussion with Keizer Chamber members and local leaders. Commissioner Carlson said, “We appreciate this opportunity to highlight areas where Marion County delivers services in partnership with Keizer, report on issues of special interest to Keizer residents, and hear community concerns.”

The Economic Development and Government Affairs Committee meeting of the Keizer Chamber is open to the public. There is no cost to attend.
