Community Conversation with Keizer and Marion County


The Marion County Board of Commissioners will visit with Chamber members and Keizer leaders on Wednesday, July 29, 2015.    The Commissioners’ visit is scheduled with the Economic Development and Government Affairs Committee to host a community conversation that will include discussion about:

  • economic & tourism development,
  • workforce & education 
  • community health initiatives 
  • transportation and land use   
 
Commissioners Sam Brentano, Kevin Cameron, and Janet Carlson will open with a short presentation about how the county is responding to current challenges followed by discussion with Keizer Chamber members and local leaders. Commissioner Carlson said, “We appreciate this opportunity to highlight areas where Marion County delivers services in partnership with Keizer, report on issues of special interest to Keizer residents, and hear community concerns.” 
 
The Economic Development and Government Affairs Committee meeting of the Keizer Chamber is open to the public.  There is no cost to attend.
