Oregon Latinx Leadership Network kicks off the New Year with a virtual summit to improve the lives of Oregon's largest ethnic population

What: Fuerza Colectiva, a free virtual leadership summit hosted by the Oregon Latinx Leadership Network (OLLN), addresses equity, economic prosperity, and social justice for Oregon's largest ethnic population.
Program includes: Keynote speaker: Dr. Juan Andrade, Jr., president of the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute, is one of only four Latinos to be honored by Mexican and US Governments for his distinguished service and on-going Hispanic leadership efforts.
Highlights:
• Programs created to help families during the coronavirus pandemic
• Local leaders, speakers, panelists, and interactive sessions
• Research findings on Oregon's Latinx experience
• Steps to building a vision and action plan
Why: OLLN is hosting the virtual leadership summit to bring together people to create a shared social and political vision and action plan for Oregon's Latinx community. A Fuerza Colectiva is a collective force. The summit is about building allyship between other communities of color and those who want to be part of the movement to uplift the Latinx community, the State of Oregon's largest ethnic group.

The Oregon Latinx Leadership Network exists to build and strengthen community and resilience among our Latinx community, to organize and advocate around a strategic budget and policy agenda, and to partner with leaders and public officials to advance change to enhance the well being of all Oregonians.
