Rogue Hopyard DIY Workshop: Backyard Chickens 3590 Wigrich Rd, Independence OR Saturday, March 2nd 4PM $10 (includes a chick starter kit) Darci Poage from Veterinary Services, Inc. and Greg Roush from Purina Mills will give a full demonstration on how to care for your own backyard chickens. Participants will be eligible to receive the Certificate of Completion necessary to satisfy the education requirement for obtaining a permit in the city of Independence. Learn about the techniques, equipment, and processes needed to do it yourself. Food and Beer can be purchases in the tasting room.
