Salvation Army's Red Kettle Kickoff

Everyone has seen the bell-ringers – outside grocery stores, strip malls,
and shopping centers. Armed with a Salvation Army Red Kettle and that old, familiar bell, the holiday season would be strange without them. But where do the Red Kettle donations go? 

This year’s Red Kettle program will kick off with a fundraising dinner focused on showcasing just that. With a variety of opportunities to give, and presentations from successful clients of the social services division of The Salvation Army, the Red Kettle Kickoff will demonstrate how donations from holiday-giving benefits community members  year-round. All money donated in the region stays in Marion and Polk Counties and last year helped to serve over 52,000 people.
