Scarecrows in the Garden

Create a scarecrow with your family, organization or business, then visit The Oregon Garden in October to vote for your favorite. - Sept. 26th: Scarecrow registrations and submissions due - October: Scarecrows displayed throughout the Garden - Nov. 10-28th: Scarecrows will be available for pick up on Fri-Sun from 10am-4pm SUBMISSION FEES - Non-profits, schools, & churches: $25 - Individuals & families: $30 - Businesses: $50. Submission fee includes workshops.
WORKSHOPS - Workshops will be held on Sundays in September from 2-4 pm at The Oregon Garden. Scarecrow registration is required to attend. Materials are provided.   - Sept. 7th: Constructing Your Scarecrow's Frame   - Sept. 14th: Forming Your Scarecrow's Face   - Sept. 21st: Painting & Decorating Your Scarecrow's Face   - Sept. 28th: Putting It All Together   - Or choose the Scarecrows Express option and attend the one workshop on Sept 28th from noon - 2 pm to put your already gathered materials and ideas together. http://www.oregongarden.org/events/scarecrows-in-the-garden/
