The Oregon Grape Stomp Championship
The Oregon Grape Stomp Championship is sure to be both a messy and fun affair.
It’s set from 11 a.m – 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 22-23) at Willamette Valley Vineyards, 8800 Enchanted Way SE. $10 includes free wine glass and tasting.
If you want to get in the bucket (or be a swabber) it costs $10 per team per heat. Teams consist of two people. Winners (those producing the most juice) win a trip to the World Grape Stomping Championship in Sonoma County. Last year a Keizer woman won the trip.
