What: The Wedge: Portland Celebrates Cheese Festival

Who : Over 30 of the Nation's top Creameries, as well as other Oregon artisan food creators
Cost: Suggested $5 donation to support the nonprofit Oregon Cheese Guild

The country’s top artisan, specialty and farmstead cheesemakers will take over Southeast Portland for The Wedge: Portland Celebrates Cheese Festival on Saturday, October 6^th from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Come sample some of the Nation’s finest handcrafted cheeses and meet their award-winning makers at this farmer's market style event.

The day will also include seminars in beer, spirits & cheese pairings, preparation and fresh cheese making, as well as games, kid-friendly activities and an Artisan Grilled Cheese Bar by Rogue Ales & Spirits. The Buckman Botanical Brewery will also crown a new champion in the Cheese-Eating Contest.

The Oregon Cheese Guild suggests a $5 entry donation, the proceeds of which will help the nonprofit Guild grown Oregon's artisan cheesemaker community.
