Keizer residents are invited to participate in a city-wide Book Club featuring two books: The Rat Began to Gnaw the Rope by C.W. Grafton and That Affair Next Door, by Anna Katharine Green, the inaugural books in the highly acclaimed Library of Congress Crime Series. Everyone who wants to participate will have access to the eBooks, plus a discussion guide, and will be able to participate in a virtual EXCLUSIVE book club event, featuring the editor of the Library of Congress Crime Series, Leslie S. Klinger. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 26, at 4:00 p.m., so you don’t miss this event! The key element of this Book Club is that the books have unlimited simultaneous access—unlike most eBooks where only one person at a time can read a copy. So, everyone can check out the books at the same time and we can all talk about them as a community. The eBooks can be read on a phone, tablet, or computer.
