Event Center Assistant

Job Summary
Provides customer service to those renting the City of Keizer Event Center for conferences, workshops, seminars, meetings, and a variety of other public and private events during the daytime, evening, and weekend hours.
 
Set up and take down rooms for events (tables, chairs, media equipment, signage, etc.)
Greet and assist clients and make sure events run safely and smoothly
Perform routine light building maintenance and cleaning to keep the facility in top shape
Collaborate with a team and occasionally fly solo during evening or weekend shifts  
 
Minimum Qualifications
High School Graduate or equivalent and
One-year experience related to custodial or facility set-up and take-down;
or
Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position.
and
Pass background investigation.
Bi-lingual Spanish skills preferred.
First Aid & CPR Certification preferred at hire, must be able to obtain within one (1) year of hire.

Pay Range
Hourly Amount: $20.99 – $27.39 + additional benefits
Monthly Amount:  $3,638.27 – $4,747.60 + additional benefits
